IT Strategy Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide IT strategic guidance and support for a major DoD client. Leverage knowledge of DoD and Joint IT future transformation goals, apply knowledge of the Joint Information Environment, and advise on DoD enterprise services, including collaboration, content discovery and delivery, and enterprise functions, systems, standards, and processes in support of the Joint community. Develop appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address client objectives and drive the organization toward business results, reinforce the organization's strategic information sharing objectives and achieve improvements in effectiveness, gain efficiencies, and increase security. Provide research and analysis on a full range of CIO and IT-related activities, including strategic planning, governance, IT policy, information and knowledge management, IT industry research, and emerging technologies. Perform research on IT policy and standards. Provide analysis and review of IT requirements based on alignment to the Joint Information Enterprise. Assist with the development, implementation, and tracking of the progress of an organizational IT Strategy with supporting goals and objectives.  

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with requirements analysis of IT
-5+ years of experience as a business process analyst
-5+ years of experience with client-facing IT consulting
-Experience with Microsoft Office products

-Ability to show flexibility, initiative, and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations

-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with DoD, civilian DoD, or military
-Experience with requirements gathering, process documentation, and analysis
-Knowledge of federal or DoD CIO policies
-Possession of excellent presentation and briefing skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
