IT System Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for leading a Network Managed Service Provider (MSP) team through all ITIL life cycle phases. Apply knowledge of the ITIL phases, ITSM principles, vendor tools, and requisite products to envision, design, develop, and deploy improvements to network services described in a product service catalog. Interact with customers, contract leadership, engineers, analysts, and external IT providers to move services through the life cycle, as needed. Coordinate cost, schedule, technical, and risk concerns to closure. Develop the service roadmap and approach for transition from legacy network implementation to managed network services operating IAW SLA parameters. Recommend corrections in technical solutions as part of the Continual Service Improvement and develop new network services, including their SLA parameters and reporting approach. Ensure service metrics are collected, assessed, and reported.  

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience as an IT systems engineer and with ITSM processes

-3+ years of experience in working with external customers

-Experience with defining and maintaining service capabilities in a service catalog

-Experience in working with system engineering products, including CONOPS, architecture, requirements, program milestone planning, capability roadmaps, integrated schedules, and risk management artifacts

-Experience with developing and monitoring SLA performance and leading Continual Service Improvement (CSI) activities

-Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint

-Knowledge of IT Tier 0, 1, 2, and 3 levels of support

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BBA, BA, or BS degree

-ITIL v3 Foundations

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with ServiceNow ITSM capabilities

-Experience with Network WAN and LAN systems

-Experience in working with the intelligence community

-Ability to work in a fast–paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BBA, BA, or BS degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or an IT field

-PMP or ITIL v3 Intermediary Certification
