Java Developer

Key Role:

Perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software to support distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Analyze major technical phases of significant projects by coordinating the efforts of technical support staff and the performance of assigned projects. Monitor and audit search application performance through load testing, search testing, and query response time testing. Analyze unstructured data for ingest. Analyze the design and development of an ingest process. Review the completion and implementation of technical products and evaluate vendors’ capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with software development using the Java technology stack

-Experience with using SVN and Git for version control

-Experience with working on Scrum or other Agile development-based methodologies

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Hadoop, MongoDB, and ELK stack

-Experience with intelligence community data tagging rules
