Joint Naval Integration Analyst

Key Role:

Collect inputs across the Naval Integration Enterprise for collaboration associated to tasks that influence Marine Force Command's (MFC) Joint and Service training priorities. Schedule meetings and working groups, including logistic support and briefing material preparation. Attend meetings, working groups, and counsels and other influential events to capture key information and action points to inform the MFC efforts within their Naval Integration portfolio. Develop 3-Star level briefings and papers for review to inform leadership and decision support processes, as required and write articles, prepare commanders briefs, and support service level efforts. Develop and track the completion of key POA&M items in accordance with published guidance and in coordination with adjacent organizations. Support the development and execution of key leader engagements, professional military execution, and academic offerings as prescribed. Coordinate input from MFC directorates for exercise design, execution and assessments, and with Marine and Navy clients for input to MFC Naval Integration products.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with the Navy or Marine Corps as a maritime or amphibious planner

-Experience with amphibious operations

-Knowledge of the Marine Corps planning process

-Knowledge of Marine Corps force development process

-Knowledge of the Marine Corps contributions to naval operations, including littoral or maritime

-Knowledge of the following USMC publications: JP 3-02 Amphibious Operations, JP 3-02.1 Amphibious Embarkation and Debarkation, JP 3-32 Command and Control of Joint Maritime Operations, JP 5-0 Joint Planning, MCWP 5-10 Marine Corps Planning Process, and MCDP 3 Expeditionary Operations

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Graduate of Top Level Service School


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a Field Grade Officer serving on a Marine Expeditionary Force or Marine Forces Level staff

-Ability to display subject matter expertise in maritime or amphibious operations

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
