Joint Test Operations Research Analyst

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for operations research and systems analysis in support of Joint test and evaluation, including data collection and analysis planning, test issue resolution, post-test data analysis, and report preparation and production. Analyze operational test activities and use advanced knowledge of mathematics, statistical, and engineering methods in determining solutions to complex problems. Develop and refine data collection and analysis methodologies to ensure all test data collected is of sufficient quantity, quality, and relevancy to meet test objectives. Maintain responsibility for detailed problem statement, test issues, sub-issues, and measures and report any requirements for modifications. Coordinate with test management, exercise and test planning, and data management on incorporating analysis methodologies and analysis requirements into Detailed Test Plans (DTPs) and Data Management and Analysis Plans (DMAPs). Work with standard statistical software packages, including JMP and Microsoft Excel.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with operations research and systems analysis

-Experience with data collection and analysis planning, test issue resolution, post-test data analysis, and report preparation and production

-Experience with developing data collection and analysis methodologies to ensure that all test data collected is of sufficient quantity, quality, and relevancy to meet test objectives        

-Ability to analyze operational test activities and use advanced knowledge of mathematics, statistical, and engineering methods in determining solutions to complex problems

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Joint test or operational test agency

-Experience with developing DTPs

-Knowledge of United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), and United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) roles and responsibilities relevant to nuclear command and control (NC2) strategic communications systems and procedures preferred

Clearance:
