Knowledge Management Content Manager/Trainer

Key Role:

Work with a Army Reserve (USAR) client and assist with the implementation of content management concepts and procedures to enable USAR organizations to store and control critical information and knowledge supporting leader decision making and mission requirements efficiently. Serve as the organizational lead for the training and execution of content processing, storage, and retrieval processes and procedures and help the staff manage content with processes and tools that facilitate collaboration and the exchange of knowledge. Analyze the development of, implement, and maintain content management standards within the four task areas of the content life cycle, including creation, dissemination, archival, and removal. Maintain responsibility for the spectrum of storage mediums and collaborative tools used to ensure consistency throughout the organization, including all content management activities, managing lists, and helping clients manage organizational sites. Guide the client and all organizational content managers (CMs) on how to standardize and manage their sites, and properly organize the content either within or related to those sites. Conduct content management (CM) training to educate USAR personnel on content management standards or techniques, promote standardization, and drive knowledge management (KM) integration, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with content management

-2 years of experience with SharePoint Portal operations 

-1 year of experience with SharePoint 2013 and SP 2013 workflow design and implementation, administration, and configuration

-Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

-Knowledge of federal government or DoD information assurance (IA) security controls

-Ability to work independently or in a team setting

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS or BS degree and 2+ years of experience with working in a professional environment

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the Army

-Knowledge of KM principles, procedures, and processes
