Laboratory Information Management System Trainer

Key Role:
Apply knowledge of laboratory sciences and processes to work as part of a larger client site team responsible for producing and delivering training and communication products for an HHS client’s information management system. Maintain responsibility for analyzing the development of and maintaining training materials, including training aids, videos, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), learning the LIMS software to a sufficient level to prepare training programs and training materials, designing product demonstrations, developing course content, supporting the development of the team’s over-arching training and communications methodology, and coordinating the development of training aids. Ensure training products comply with relevant federal regulations and policies. Review system content to ensure compliance and integrate training materials. Conduct training sessions and system demonstrations and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Ensure projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and work plans. Improve awareness and comprehension of LIMS tools.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with producing training content, lab processes, or education material
-Experience with developing and maintaining SOPs
-Experience with laboratory sciences
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Ability to be a task-oriented team player who is comfortable working as part of a larger team and independently to produce training materials and content
-BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with producing training content or communication products
-Experience with information systems projects
-Experience in working with HHS clients
-Ability to work collaboratively and be flexible
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
