Lead Cyber Defense Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a lead Cybersecurity service provider for an infrastructure program supporting a DoD client. Lead inspection and audit response for client environment and manage team performance. Apply a broad comprehension of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events, including incidents within information systems and networks. Advise on integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational effects, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events, data spillage, and incident response actions. Conduct Intelligence and counterintelligence collection with network analysis and reporting. Establish, track, and report quality risk management along with engineering projects to contract leadership on a regular basis. Ensure security engineering staff provide tier three technical support and expertise to client staff and customers with ongoing training and certification. 


Basic Qualifications:

-4 + years of experience with IT and Information Security

-Knowledge of industry, government, and DoD best practices specifically in firewall, intrusion prevention technologies, Web content filtering, SIEM tools, computer forensics, and endpoint security

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-IAT Level III, CISSP, CSSP Analyst or CSSP Incident Responder, GCIH, or CEH Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing standard infrastructure production environments of size and scope similar to the requirements of mid-sized DoD global organizations

-Experience with creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical configurations in accordance with DoD STIG policies, orders, standards, guidelines, and procedures

-Knowledge of DoD system, security, storage, network, or data security requirements, as applicable


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
