Learning and Development Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and design highly engaging and interactive learning solutions and apply industry standard methodologies, including ADDIE, SAM, and Agile to the full life cycle of course development in an established process by developing a course needs assessment, course design, implementation, and evaluation. Ensure the timely completion of defined multi-discipline learning programs and apply expertise in eLearning authoring tools. Design and develop complex level interactive courseware, including ILT, vILT, online learning, Web casts, mobile, social, video, microlearning, and authoring tools for training and serve as an internally recognized specialist in the learning and development space. Develop and nurture client relationships and work closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and implement learning strategies, programs, and processes for the effective usage of the organization’s human capital. Apply in-depth project and financial management experience, including identifying, qualifying, selecting, and monitoring vendors and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with designing, developing, and implementing instructor led and eLearning products

-Experience with learning technologies, including Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate

-Experience with designing and implementing learning solutions using simulations, social, mobile, video, and micro-learning

-Experience as a consultant, including presenting to and interacting with stakeholders in a consultative manner

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to translate complex concepts and data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations

-Ability to analyze and de-conflict information from a variety of sources to form instructionally sound course content

-Ability to create supporting course documentation, including design documents, storyboards, art style guides, and learning objectives

-BA or BS degree required

-Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders

-Possession of excellent analytical, client-handling, and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) Certification

-Instructional Design Certification
