Learning and Development Consultant

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for analyzing strategies, programs, and processes for the effective usage of the organization’s human capital. Manage and ensure the timely completion of specific, defined multi-discipline human resources programs or projects of moderate complexity and scope. Manage the relationship cycle with vendors. Identify, qualify, select, and monitor vendors or suppliers and negotiate final contracts. Interface with functional teams and stakeholders to assess training and development needs and the effectiveness of established programs. Interact with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses and analyze the preparation of lesson plans, including the method, media, and documentation to be presented. Resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways as an experienced professional with full knowledge of an area of specialization.


Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with learning and development, curriculum, and human capital

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
-Ability to collect, compile, analyze, and synthesize information adeptly

-Ability to interact with internal clients at all levels effectively

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a tightly integrated team and collaborate across functional and organizational boundaries

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with instructional technology, distributed learning solutions, and learning management systems

-Experience with designing and implementing learning solutions

-Experience with developing and prescribing strategies for curriculum management and adult learners

-Ability to be a self-starter, innovative thinker, and problem-solver

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
