Key Role:
Perform acquisition logistics transition to in–service for Navy platforms, including reviews, change recommendations, or initial acceptance of life cycle logistics products. Support the product support manager in updating the program sustainment plans and cost estimates as a result of platform path to initial operational capability (IOC). Support the program office in ensuring all technical data package items are submitted in support of IOC, including training curricula, training materials, manpower requirements, maintenance plans, interim supply support management plans, technical manuals, such as technical drawings, and reliability and maintainability analyses. Prepare research and presentations to satisfy a wide range of logistics briefing requirements, including program meetings, overviews, reviews, and milestones for the platform. Work closely with all program office logistics staff and ensure product support integration is reflective of the platform. Support the program office in recommending future financial requirements and managing current activity execution. This position is located in Washington, DC.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with Navy ship operations, maintenance, and modernization
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Active Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as a Surface Warfare Officer
-Experience with Navy combat systems a plus
-Experience with Littoral Combat Ships a plus
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
