Logistics Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Review ground combat and combat support fleet support requirements, recommend levels of support across all pillars of logistics, and establish maintenance, including supply requirements for fielded and planned systems and equipment. Perform maintenance and maintainability analysis for customers, assist with the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support, and perform logistics design influence during technical systems engineering and architecture reviews. Plan and contribute to proposal efforts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on complex technical problems, provide highly innovative solutions, and serve as an advanced consultant with capability knowledge that excels at client delivery with expertise in all levels of ground vehicle maintenance. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business. Serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects and programs, and act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with military vehicle maintenance at the intermediate and depot levels
-Knowledge of military vehicle supply and maintenance funding
-Ability to work with senior military clients on levels of repair, depot maintenance planning, maintenance and engineering manpower, reliability-centered maintenance, capability-based maintenance, maintenance scheduling, parts supply, and reliability analysis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BS degree in Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with ground vehicle logistics,

-Knowledge of analytic capabilities at an expert level

-Ability to interface with senior logistics personnel to discuss readiness and readiness improvements and ownership cost reduction
-RCM Level III or Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
