Lower Tactical Internet Network Engineer

Key Role:

Lead systems integration, network management, and security efforts, including telecommunication features and security of VoIP VPX and the development of automated test tools for integrating platforms into diverse networks. Provide systems analysis and engineering to integrate Program Executive Office (PEO) communication systems with PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS) and Combat Support (CS) and Combat Services Support (CSS) and provide field support of network integration projects. Support software key loading using the Simple Key Loader (SKL) to load keys and mission plans onto software defined radio systems. Leverage expertise of the Lower Tactical Internet (LTI) and provide leadership for the network integration for major products focusing on the testing of network applications, testing the variety of UNIX and Windows-based devices in a networked environment, and development of test scripts data developers and data readers.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Experience with inputting, retrieving, and analyzing data

-Knowledge of systems engineering support to mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) programs

-Knowledge of developing radio initialization plans for large-scale networks and network engineering support

-Knowledge of system integration, integration testing, and system engineering of network management systems

-Ability to direct and coordinate operations

-Ability to work independently

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

-Ability to respond to quick-turn requests

-Possession of excellent time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Engineering or related field
