Machine Learning/Computer Vision Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Work as a key researcher and R&D engineer on a growing team of elite scientists who investigate and solve challenging, data fusion problems. Use R&D experience to develop and implement biometric and data fusion techniques through algorithm and software or script development, and the use of existing data fusion tools. Collaborate with experienced subject-matter experts and technical or project managers to develop cutting edge technology to fill data fusion capability gaps that can withstand rigorous scientific validation. Conduct research and develop custom solutions to the client's challenging problems. Analyze scientific publications with a high degree of understanding and implement concepts from academia into real world use. Analyze current technology and make or defend scientific recommendations to address specific client missions. Produce high-quality technical solutions, recommendations, and papers for senior technical personnel with potential to publish.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with developing software in object-oriented and scripting languages, including MATLAB, C/C++, and Python

-Experience with integrating commercial software tools for custom application development

-Experience with machine learning, signal and imaging processing, algorithm development, or computer vision

-Experience with computer vision and machine learning software packages, including OpenCV, DLIB, Caffe, or TensorFlow

-Secret clearance

​-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with research, including developing, designing, and executing research plans

-Experience with GPU programming, including NVIDIA CUDA

-Experience with biometrics preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and real-world problem-solving skills

-MA or MS degree in an Engineering or Science field preferred; PhD degree in an Engineering or Science field a plus

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
