Managed Care Regulatory Analyst, Senior

Key Role: 
Support the regulatory compliance and innovation work for projects with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Focus on consulting on the analysis of performance, procedures, and processes of complex health systems to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges. Consult on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality, and safety across the provider, payer, research and life science, and public health segments. Maintain responsibility for supporting the development of thought leadership opportunities on Medicaid and Medicare topics in the form of whitepapers, policy issue briefs, and other written materials. Plan and manage all aspects of small– to medium–sized client engagements and discreet segments of larger projects. Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy. Plan and perform audits and develop quantitative and qualitative analyses, generate client deliverables, make valuable contributions to expert reports, and communicate results and work product, as appropriate.


Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with leading improvement initiatives
-Experience with a broad range of quality improvement initiatives and programs
-Experience in working with CMS innovation models in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI)
-Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and methods, clinical workflow, and vocabulary

-Knowledge of health operations, policy, and care delivery models
-Ability to apply critical–thinking expertise to help solve clients’ complex problems
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-Ability to learn new areas of expertise and pay strict attention to detail
-Ability to work in a team environment
-BBA or BS degree
