Managed Care Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Key Role:
Support the regulatory compliance work for projects with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Maintain responsibility for supporting the development of thought leadership opportunities on Medicaid and Medicare topics in the form of whitepapers, policy issue briefs, and other marketing materials. Plan and manage all aspects of small- to medium-sized client engagements and discreet segments of larger projects. Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy. Plan and perform audits and develop quantitative and qualitative analyses. Generate client deliverables, make valuable contributions to expert reports, manage client relationships, and communicate results and work products, as appropriate. Contribute to business development initiatives and administrative functions, including staff training and recruiting.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with healthcare management or healthcare audits and compliance
-Ability to manage assignments and organize tasks logically
-Ability to learn new areas of expertise and pay strict attention to detail
-Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and present findings or recommendations
-Ability to work successfully both individually or in collaboration with others
-Ability to manage processes and other consultants
-Ability to provide a writing sample required
-Ability to work in a team environment
-BA or BS degree in Healthcare Management or Business Management

 Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with value-based purchasing preferred
-Experience with provider reimbursement methodology preferred
-Experience in working with health insurance organizations, federal officials, states, and other relevant stakeholders on managed care issues
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-JD or MA or MS degree in Healthcare Management or Business Management
-Healthcare Compliance Certification preferred
-CPA and CFE Certifications preferred
