Managed Threat Services Sales Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for selling Booz Allen’s Managed Threat Services (MTS) to enterprise clients, building pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and executing all business development functions for a given geography and set of Booz Allen MTS clients. Qualify and execute new MTS opportunities and lead negotiations for enterprise MTS contracts. Translate customer business and technical requirements and success criteria for new MTS opportunities, including build and develop meaningful customer relationships with key stakeholders at C-level, SVP, VP, and IT leaders. Align internal resources, SMEs, and business leaders to support selling efforts for key accounts. Work across cross-functional teams successfully in selling situations to provide unified voice and value proposition to the customer and lead, drive overall field competitive technical comprehend and Booz Allen’s service and technical differentiation, and perform high-level technical sales presentations for prospective clients. Articulate a sound architectural approach and technical capabilities of Booz Allen security services, compare and contrast to our competition, and differentiate a value-based business proposition, clearly.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with technical sales or pre-sales

-5+ years of experience in a professional networking or security field

-Experience with negotiating and pricing enterprise-level managed service contracts

-Experience with developing meaningful client relationships and C-level relevance across enterprise organizations

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, practices, and procedures

-Ability to display a track record of success with building new pipelines, managing funnel, and achieving performance against quota   

-BA or BS degree or +7 years of experience with industry sales in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Salesforce.com, and Visio applications

-Ability to perform a variety of complicated, detail-oriented assignments and deliver preferred outcomes in allotted time frames

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment

-Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding business and client information

-CISSP, CCE and PFI Certification a plus
