Management Consultant

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for developing Army modeling and simulation (M&S) policies, researching existing policies, and analyzing potential impacts in coordination with the Army Modeling and Simulation Office (AMSO) policy lead, including preparing and presenting briefings to senior leaders and meeting minutes, and providing talking points and recommendations to the AMSO leadership on policy matters. Perform gap and process analysis and recommend ways and means to bridge the gaps and improve process effectiveness and efficiency. Maintain awareness of DoD, Army, and federal policies, procedures, directives, and instructions that impact the Army M&S community. Organize and facilitate meetings, conference calls, and working groups, including generating after action reports and tracking implementation of agreed-to items. Provide planning, management, and strategic planning support for the Army M&S Enterprise with an emphasis on supporting cross-cutting Army M&S requirements, capabilities, gaps, and solutions. Support M&S technical working groups to promote coordination and collaboration across the Army M&S Enterprise. Provide planning and logistical support for conferences and meetings, including M&S General Officer Steering Committees (GOSC), M&S Council of Colonels (CoC), an annual Army M&S forum, and other engagements, as required.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with working policy and governance matters

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
