Manpower Analyst

Key Role:

Update internal military personnel tracking spreadsheets to validate military personnel hiring actions and position information and ensure the accuracy of the data. Assess manpower changes and draft Billet Change Requests (BCR) using pertinent Service manpower documents, including Officer and Enlisted Occupational Classification System manuals and others to ensure accuracy and are in accordance with the unit’s Organization Manual, as required. Develop and design a military position management database to track workforce end strength, vacancies, and the generation of required reports, including onboard and vacancy statuses. Review, revise, and assist with the drafting of new military and civilian human resource directives and local instructions. Assess human capital data and prepare various reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office software in support of the workforce. Update the internal manpower and manning tracker to ensure accuracy with existing military and civilian databases. Determine, develop, and implement processes, organizational alignment plans, program evaluation, and metrics development plans on specified issues to ensure Cyber resources and business practices are properly aligned to the current mission priorities and are adapted to future mission requirements.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD Military operational and tactical commands
-Experience with synthesizing and analyzing large volumes of data to determine trends, operational seams and gaps, and organizational change process needs
-Experience with writing reports, providing briefs to senior leaders, applying analytical expertise for independent and objective oversight, and constructing briefs using graphics and statistics that convey the analysis of processed data and are designed to lead the reviewer to a logical conclusion
-Experience with researching and applying DoD policies, programs, and procedures to real-world events

-Ability to use qualitative and quantitative analyses tools to perform audits and investigations and assess Navy and DoD civilian-military manpower activities

-TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam
-BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
