Maritime Planner

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats or homeland security. Determine the procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform or direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. Provide work leadership for lower level employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience in the Maritime Security Cooperation domain

-8 years of experience in the PACOM AOR

-Knowledge of the Pacific Partnership mission

-Knowledge of the PACOM Theater Campaign Order and COMPACFLT Maritime Security Cooperation plan

-Knowledge of military protocol and executive correspondence

-Ability to operate effectively on a senior staff

-Ability to create Flag Officer level briefing products

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a Foreign Area Officer preferred

-TS/SCI clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree preferred
