McAfee Support Engineer

Key Role:

Provide onsite support to all McAfee products and security solutions as they arise using industry best practices and maintain the fully operational Enterprise Security Manager Suite with continuous software updates on JSOC networks, using industry best practices and tools, including Enterprise Security Manager, Advanced Correlation Engine, Event Receiver, Network Security Manger, Network Security Platform, Enterprise Log Manager, Application Data Monitor, and Network Threat Behavior Analysis. Maintain a COOP capability for Enterprise Security Manager, Event Receiver, Network Security Manger, and HBSS and review the System Design Plan (SOP) Engineering Installation Package (EIP), Operations Orders (OPORDs), Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs), Tips, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and other related HBSS documents for technical accuracy and feasibility. Provide capability integration with Cybersecurity tools, including Threat Intelligence Exchange, Data Exchange Layer, Advanced Threat Defense, McAfee Active Response, CISCO Identity Services Engine (ISE) and pxGrid, Network Security Manger, Network Security Platform, Global Threat Intelligence Feeds, ePO, and Splunk. Provide engineering solutions for future needs, including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Cloud Security and provide customization based on best practices for threat detection, including custom alerts, custom response, and custom dashboard views. Leverage knowledge of transfer to Cybersecurity staff to sustain fully operational system and provide troubleshooting services to all organizational owed McAfee Product. Review and assess McAfee ePO servers to ensure CCRI Phase Ill criterion compliance with agent deployment, point products, product configuration, rogue system detection, and maintenance baseline release, Deployment of McAfee MOVE. Provide Advance Cyber Threat Defense support and apply product-specific knowledge of support for unique server and non-Windows platforms, including UNIX and Linux system requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-4 years of experience as an information assurance specialist

-Ability to work at a government site in Fayetteville, NC

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-8570 Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Comp TIA Advance Security Practitioner (CASP)

Additional Qualifications:

-Active TS/SCI preferred

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
