Mechanical Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Apply engineering support to Army client and subordinate program manager programs. Conduct technical market surveys and investigations, analyze the development of system engineering plans and specifications, and conduct specification review and analysis. Assist with the development and review of interface control documents and the development of documentation and architectures. Determine program risks and manage quality control. Perform system integration and configuration management. Analyze Safety and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) certification. Test and assess product performance and safety.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with engineering analyses, development, preparation, and updating of client programs and products

-Knowledge of system and subsystem design reviews, including systems requirements reviews (SRRs), preliminary design reviews (PDRs), critical design reviews (CDRs), Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) reviews, test readiness reviews (TRRs), and in-service reviews (ISRs)

-Ability to perform system design and technical analysis of components and systems

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with systems engineering plans and development strategies for client programs

-Experience with technology assessments, program risk assessments, and system safety studies 

-Knowledge of the development of system safety tests, studies, and analyses in accordance with requirements

-Knowledge of the development of system safety assessment reports (SARs)

-Knowledge of analyzing system safety program plans (SSPPs) and system safety management plans
