Mechanical Engineer

As a mechanical engineer on our team, you provide subject matter expertise in automotive powertrain design, testing, reporting, and analysis support to a DoD client with a primary focus on ground vehicle diesel engine programs. Apply expertise in the subject matter to assist clients with technology and program development. Comprehend and apply engineering best practices. Comprehend and apply current DoD engineering and acquisition guidance. Prepare and present program status updates to client management with metrics-based reports. Work well across a distributed team to identify and resolve conflicts and technical issues within platforms, systems, and teams. Research, draft, and review engineering products. Assist with the development of program milestone documents, including initial capabilities document, capability development document, interface control documents, and engineering plans.

You Have:

-4 years of experience with engineering and automotive integration projects

-Experience with diesel engine and engine control modules

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

-Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MS degree in ME or Automotive Engineering
