Microsoft Server Integration Services Developer

Key Role:

Support Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SSRS developer with expertise in developing, maintaining and supporting Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages related to the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process using Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later. Assist in maintaining responsibility for data profiling, including SQL and database tuning and optimization. Analyze the client requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements. Leverage expertise in database development and design using OLTP and OLAP systems (SSIS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2011 or 2013. Assist with producing complex T-SQL queries to support reporting needs, including performing systems and data analysis functions.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2012, including Procedures, Views, or Functions

-5+ years of experience in extract, transform, and load (ETL) development and Microsoft SSIS, and SSAS

-5+ years of experience in T-SQL development, debugging and optimization

-5+ years of experience working with databases, data warehouses, and BI tools, including Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 or higher

-Experience with SSIS and DTS packages and SSAS Tabular and Cubes

-Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to design, develop, revise and maintain a wide variety of custom SSRS reports to support our business, including dashboards, scorecards, custom extracts

-Ability to perform query tuning

-Ability to identify and analyze data discrepancies and data quality issues and work to ensure data consistency and integrity

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban

-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Experience with documenting all ETL and data warehouse processes and flows

-Ability to communicate issues, risks, and concerns proactively to management

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-Microsoft Certifications a plus
