Business Enterprise Architect

Key Role:

Support a military service component command with the development and implementation of a Business Architecture Framework that aligns strategic and operational goals to tactical requirements. Analyze the organization’s operational and business activities and develop architectural products, including viewpoints and architectural models to standardize the organization’s architectural principles, methods, and tools. Leverage high-level architectural expertise to Army Network Enterprise Architecture. Leverage knowledge of the military planning process and coordination of a service-level execution order. Work and operate in a complex and dynamic environment with personnel at all levels of the military, including flag officers, action officers, senior non-commissioned officers, program managers, and engineers. 

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with working at high military organization levels, including operational and strategic Combatant Command

-Experience with Business Enterprise Architecture

-Experience with using EA tool suites and with the Army and other DoD or military services architecture repository solutions

-Experience with network enterprise architectural design from concept to implementation

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook

-Knowledge of the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.0 and other non-DoD EA frameworks

-Ability to interact with senior DoD general officer, flag officer, and SES-level decision makers and action officers, non-commissioned officers, other support contractors, administrative staff, and service program management personnel

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with configuration standardization and network modernization requirements

-Experience as a former officer, non-commissioned officer, or warrant officer

-Knowledge of DoD network management and configuration standardization preferred

-Ability to organize and conduct meetings of stakeholder representatives relating to client program initiation activities

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
