Military Plans and Programming Lead

Key Role:

Conduct short- and long-range plan reviews, reprogramming activities, technical reviews, requirements reviews, organizational structure, and systems and resource analysis to accomplish the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW) mission. Generate analyses, position papers, documentation, and briefings in response to programmatic requests from the Plans and Programs (XP) director and Wing staff. Advise the XP director on policy, requirements, and programmatic matters and facilitate the selection of key strategic priorities for the ISRW and define objectives and actions required to achieve them. Coordinate with staff, subordinate groups and squadrons, Numbered Air Force (NAF), Air Combat Command (ACC), DoD Services, support contractors, and other combat support agencies to complete planning activities. Evaluate and provide input into strategic organizational planning, higher headquarters requirements development, and project implementation matters related to transition or other planning. Work with Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and National Guard Bureau (NGB) regarding associate production responsibilities between ISRW and Reserve Classic Associate Unit (CAU) and Air National Guard (ANG) intelligence squadrons. Adapt implementation plans to changing senior leader plans and priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) or cryptologic intelligence

-2+ years of experience with developing, drafting, or reviewing mission or support requirements for group or higher-level organizations

-Experience as a senior Air Force leader performing or overseeing group-level or higher program management or mission support, including Air Force Directorate Chief or Director, Branch Chief, or Superintendent

-Knowledge of Air Force, Joint services, or combined planning, programming, and budgeting system

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with cryptologic, Cyber, or national tactical integration missions

-Experience as MAJCOM or HQ USAF action officer

-Experience as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or with project management

-Experience in working at or with US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) or Air Force Cyber (AFCYBER) organizations

-Experience with Air Component, Combatant Command, or Air Force Major Command intelligence requirements

-BA or BS degree
