Military Programs Research Analyst

Key Role:
Formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Analyze procedures used to solve complex problems while considering equipment or materials capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Maintain responsibility for program design, testing, and documentation. Apply expertise in multiple complex work assignments simultaneously.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a US Navy officer

-Experience in working with subordinate commands and program stakeholders required

-Experience in operating with appreciable latitude when developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems while contributing to deliverables and performance metrics, where applicable

-Knowledge of all phases of technical applications analysis

-Knowledge of the business or function for which applications are designed

-Ability to apply expertise in multiple complex work assignments simultaneously

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as an action officer supporting headquarters staff

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
