Military Research Operations Officer

Key Role:

Assist an Army information sciences client by providing technical project management support and analysis and establish and execute division-level systematic, disciplined, and continuous business process to support efficient execution of the division’s research mission. Manage and track administrative or logistical tasks that support ongoing research programs and initiatives across the division. Coordinate and track the execution and delivery of program management reports, deliverables, and research knowledge products to drive Army future concepts and capability development in support of Army modernization. Communicate and coordinate the division’s responses to senior-level taskers. Assist with strategic communications and change management efforts. Assist with preparing written reports, presentations, and discussions, as necessary. Provide work leadership to ensure execution of critical tasks, as determined by the division chief. This position is located in Adelphi, MD.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with the DoD

-2 years of experience with analyzing problems, conducting research, summarizing results, making recommendations, and preparing reports or documents

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Science or Technology

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Army Program Executive Office (PEO) or Program Manager (PM) support

-Experience with DoD regulations, staff procedures, and regulations

-Experience with Army administrative, logistical, or contracting systems

-Active Secret clearance
