Military Strategy and Concept Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in Air Force and Joint service subject matter to assist with military concept design, development, execution, and outcome analyses. Use operations research techniques, wargaming, and related analyses to evaluate and validate future Air Force concepts of operations and make recommendations on future capability development and force design alternatives. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive military systems, policies, processes, and threats. Determine procedures for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving concepts, systems, and technologies. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. 

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with military concept development, strategy development, strategic planning, or strategic assessments

-Experience with developing and validating assumptions for detailed military concepts of operations

-Knowledge of the Air Force's Strategy, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (SPPBE) processes and related databases and tools, including ABIDES, ETT, and RAPIDS

-Knowledge of Joint requirements processes, including the Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS)

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with serving as an Air Force officer or Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) in a Headquarters Air Force or Major Command assignment

-Experience with serving on an Air Force Corporate Structure panel or group
