Mine Warfare Program Planner

Key Role:

Coordinate with the naval client Mine Warfare (MIW) Division in the compilation and analysis of data generated in the Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring Program (MIREM). Perform day-to-day duties, including developing exercise objectives, coordinating schedules across multiple government and foreign organizations, and facilitating planning conferences for exercise construction in CONUS and OCONUS environments. Develop plans and maneuver schemes, coordinate complex schedules, draft test and data collection plans, and create briefing products and materials in support of exercise planning conferences or client objectives. Embark ships to observe and collect mine warfare data in execution required to support exercise reconstruction and analysis. Communicate exercise results orally and in written formats to support products for representatives of mine warfare commands, engineering labs, and program offices. Assist with the development of client Warfare Tactics Instructor curriculum and in the instruction of MIW tactics, techniques, and procedures to junior grade officers through warfare commanders.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with Navy Mine Warfare

-Experience with managing complex projects or programs

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Ability to travel internationally

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


Clearance:
