Missile Defense Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Lead and execute analytical tasks, including using techniques and processes for complex developmental and operational programs and teams developing and using tools, techniques, and processes for technical or administrative activities. Analyze threats to international partners and evaluate the impact of differences between US and International threat definitions. Review threat data packages (TDPs) and prepare assessments. Perform weapon system target signature, wake, debris, and countermeasures modeling and evaluate potential countermeasures, including CCMs. Support the preparation for transition from the engineering and manufacturing development phase to the production and deployment phase. Support the approval for fielding decision of weapons systems. Assess targets of opportunity (TOOs) to operate international assets in realistic scenarios and support battle management center (BMC) readiness.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with the program’s analytical principles and practices for developmental and operational programs
-Experience with using, adapting to, and analyzing analytic tools, techniques, and processes for technical or administrative support activities
-Experience with system engineering analysis of missile defense architecture and performance, weapon system design assessment, and international weapon system and deployment schedules 
-Ability to use the Microsoft Office package, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
-Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
-Ability to travel 5% to 10% of the time to various locations, including manufacturing sites, integration sites, and test sites CONUS and OCONUS
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree and 15 years of experience with ballistic missile defense systems (BMDSes) or MA or MS degree and 10 years of experience with BMDSes

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in interacting with and supporting high-level government customers, including generating briefing and written products and presenting information at the executive level 
-Experience with post-engagement effects
-Knowledge of the BMDS upper and lower tier weapon systems
-Top Secret clearance
-BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
