Mission Assurance Fire Protection Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Provide non-personal professional services for an Army client, including conducting independent research, planning, coordination, assessment, reporting, and corrective action validation activities of a team conducting protection program higher headquarters assessments at Army installations. Conduct pre-assessment work, including data gathering, research, and coordination, execute compliance assessments, including applying standards and benchmarks to various installation programs and operations, and documenting and reporting the findings of installation assessments as part of a team. Use various automated tools, databases, and other software programs to support assessment activities, prepare briefing materials and observations and recommendations for installation leadership and staff, and collaborate with active duty and civil service government staff and counterparts across Army organizations and other government agencies if required. Perform work in program areas, including threat actor options, physical security, structural and infrastructure engineering, emergency management, and information operations with an emphasis on fire protection. This position requires the ability to work extended hours outdoors in sometimes austere conditions and travel up to 25% of the time and is located in San Antonio, TX.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with the fire department, including in a DoD environment
-3 years of experience with assessments
-Knowledge of DoD risk management concepts in a mission assurance environment
-Ability to demonstrate expertise in leadership and initiative and work without full-time direct supervision
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Completion of fire protection training certifications
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Completion of ATO Level II training
