Mission Command Trainer

Key Role:
Prepare and deliver Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS) training based on event training plans, including serving as a lead platform instructor for assigned systems and an assistant instructor for remaining systems. Support the conduction of military training exercises through the development of training methods and material, including curriculum, lectures, over the shoulder coaching, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with the client and user specifications. Maintain technical and tactical proficiency in software and training support package (TSP) products for multiple MCiS to support Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming - Integrated Architecture (LVCG-IA) training exercises. Assist with exercise site set up, configurations, system checks, system testing, and tear down after exercise completion. Serve as a system subject matter expert providing technical expertise and system support operations during training exercises. Develop, modify, refine, and validate training plans and programs of instruction documenting flaws in system configuration and implementing corrections.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with using the official system program and product manager's training products or the commercial software and hardware developer's technical and training material in the absence of a designated program or product manager
-Experience with Microsoft Office products
-Ability to deliver operator-level training in a classroom environment in accordance with established Mission Training Complex Training Support Plans
-Ability to support training exercises in a semi-austere environment, as necessary
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with conducting training and training exercises for military service members
-Experience with using digital logistics systems during simulations and live exercises and delivering MCiS training based on event training plans
-Experience in working with or training on any of the following systems: Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and system subcomponents, Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) and Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG), Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4), and the Harbor Master Command and Control system
-Experience with command post operations in the military a plus
-Experience with digital master gunner training, including battle staff operations and military instruction preferred
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
