Mission Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Participate on a team responsible for ingesting, analyzing, clarifying, and understanding requirements levied upon national systems. Conduct activities that lead to the production of timelines and schedules that influence or direct mission operations, tasking, and tuning of mission assets. Work with multiple systems and platforms and invoke defined and stringent processes to ensure mission success. Use at least one system or platform and apply knowledge of additional systems or platforms to execute detailed plans and procedures that maximize support in areas involving requirements management, mission planning and optimization, and performance analysis. Monitor and operate computer software to process scientific, engineering, or other data according to specific operating instructions and procedures. Validate software performance and make recommendations to improve performance and utility of various software programs. Collaborate with internal and external entities to develop and implement optimized strategies that leverage system capabilities while minimizing the impacts of system constraints.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in collection management, mission management, or SIGINT operational environments

-Knowledge of processes and tools designed to ingest schedules and activities

-Ability to recognize problems and errors, provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and react appropriately

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree or 4+ years of experience with the intelligence community in lieu of a degree
 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in more than one collection management, mission management, and SIGINT operational environment preferred

-Ability to apply highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts

-Ability to analyze the development of strategies and processes across multiple systems that ensure activities are created in a manner that optimizes resource usage and achieves mission objectives

-Ability to leverage existing applications or methods and provide input into the development of new applications that improve products or methods

-Ability to work successfully as part of a virtual team

-BA or BS degree in a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
