Mission Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Ingest, analyze, clarify, and comprehend requirements levied upon national systems. Provide oversight and expertise while guiding activities in support of the production of timelines and schedules which influence or direct mission operations, tasking, and tuning of mission assets. Work with multiple systems and platforms and invoke defined and stringent processes to ensure mission success. Monitor and operate computer software to process scientific, engineering, or other data according to specific operating instructions and procedures. Analyze and validate software performance and make recommendations to improve performance and utility of various software programs. Guide and lead collaboration with internal and external entities to develop and implement optimized strategies that leverage system capabilities while minimizing impacts of system constraints. Lead client and team through integration of change using proven change management approaches.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with collection management, mission management, or SIGINT operational environments

-Experience with responding flexibly and dynamically to ad hoc requirements

-Knowledge of processes and tools designed to create schedules and activities

-Ability to develop strategies and processes across multiple systems that ensure activities are created in a manner to optimize resource usage and achieve mission objectives

-Ability to demonstrate subject matter expertise with at least one system or platform and comprehension of all additional systems and platforms

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree or 4+ years of experience with the intelligence community  

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in more than one collection management, mission management, and SIGINT operational environment preferred

-Experience as a team lead

-Ability to demonstrate ingenuity, resourcefulness, and application of highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts

-Ability to leverage existing applications or methods and provide input into the development of new applications that improve products or methods

-Ability to mentor less experienced personnel

-BA or BS degree in a related field
