Mission Support Specialist

Key Role:

Provide onsite support to the client office. Provide mission management support, including preparing, reviewing, staffing, and accomplishing written and oral communications to the client. Build complex briefings with significant graphics content, prepare travel documentation, schedule activities, and ensure client compliance with procedures and policies. Organize, execute, and facilitate forums, including staff meetings, working groups, and conferences. Assist with inter- and intra-agency coordination of a substantial number of high-interest action items, work with counterparts across the client to resolve, coordinate, and respond to issues of concern, and coordinate, staff, and track client and other actions, taskings, issue papers, and other memoranda in accordance with direction and guidance. Support client action tasking and tracking through the establishment and maintenance of management information needed to keep appropriate staff fully informed of the status of all actions and activities, including keeping relevant databases up-to-date.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in an office support or executive assistant role

-Experience in computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

-Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimal oversight

-Ability to quickly adapt to changing client priorities and respond to short deadlines and ad hoc requests

-Ability to build trust with clients and working relationships with onsite staff

-Ability to cover the client front office from 1600-1800 after the special administrative assistant departs or is not available

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD and IC international programs

-Ability to conduct independent research

-BA or BS degree in International Affairs, Business Management, or related field a plus
