Mobile Network Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Provide direct and remote mobile technology support to create and sustain an enterprise network architecture with mobile and wireless capabilities that enable organizations to operate at a minimum with multiple mobile platforms, including Android and Windows and tough books. Diagnose network-based problems and factors affecting network performance. Enable the integration of capabilities into the architecture. Supervise junior mobile network engineers.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with engineering mobile technology solutions

-Experience with designing, building, and implementing mobile network systems, including leveraging Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls, such as ASA or PIX platforms and Juniper switches and routers

-Experience with analyzing network traffic, and providing capacity planning solutions using security event management and diagnostic tools, including Nessus, Splunk, SolarWinds Orion, Sourcefire, HBSS, Wireshark, and full-packet capture solutions  

-Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPSec VPNs

-Experience with architecting solutions involving mobile, mobility, and wireless capabilities

-Experience with multiple mobile platforms, including Android, iOS, and Windows.

-Ability to research, develop, and depict network diagrams accurately for incorporation into market studies and analysis and capability gap assessments

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-ITIL Level II Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Windows Server technologies, including AD, DNS, and DHCP

-Experience with using VMware vSphere or Vcenter

-Experience with network monitoring protocols, including SNMP, Netflow, Network, and RMON

-Experience in coordinating with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the US government

-Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices

-Experience with analyzing test plans and executing, testing, and documenting test results across developmental, interoperability, and operational test scenarios

-CCENT, CCNA, or JNCIA Certification

-DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II, including Security+


Clearance:
