Mobile Security Engineer

Key Role:
Apply expertise in mobile security subject matter and leverage defense in-depth security strategies for iOS and Android mobile solutions. Leverage expertise in MobileIron mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAS) solutions, mobile threat detection tools, and wired and wireless network fundamentals to mitigate and remediate Cyber vulnerabilities and threats. Identify required input and support strategies, security architecture, and decisions to bolster an organization's mobile security posture.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with wireless and networking end-to-end engineering and business capacities to deploy mobile capabilities
-4+ years of experience with end-to-end engineering and the deployment of enterprise mobility management (EMM) systems, including MobileIron
-4+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering, including installing and configuring Windows domains, setting up virtual infrastructure using VMware ESXI, setting up and configuring Linux servers, and hardening Windows, Linux, and VMware servers
-Knowledge of Apple iOS and Android Knox mobile operating systems
-Knowledge of mobile threat defense and wireless intrusion detection systems
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with mobile threat defense and wireless intrusion detection systems
-Experience with working in coordination with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the federal government
-Experience with developing support desk and end-user documentation and training to promote Cybersecurity best practices
-Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities

-Ability to regularly monitor new mobile technology and the vendor and industry landscape
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to develop technical briefs and convey complex technical topics to a diverse audience
-Security+, CCNA, or CEH Certification
