Mobile Technical Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the primary contact for a business owner or clinical lead and a product development team within the government on the technical architecture for mobile medical applications. Advise on the overall mobile app architecture based on each app throughout the product life cycle, including requirements, development, field test, and national release. Apply expertise in both program management functions and modern software engineering practices and principles. Report directly to the client and overall program manager on topics of program delivery and project status. Communicate technical recommendations to senior-level clients and work directly with architects and engineers to ensure successful delivery. Support the client's Connected Health efforts in providing new forms of access to care and delivery and capabilities to support clinicians and patients with self-management.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-12+ years of experience with managing a full life cycle of health IT products

-5 years of experience with explaining and advising on the architectural design of a product or group of products

-3+ years of experience with VA or federal health environments or government consulting

-Ability to operate independently to solve client needs with limited guidance

-Ability to be a team player and collaborator and operate with virtual teams

-Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, mitigate risks, and manage a project plan

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with VA or federal health environments or government consulting

-Experience with clinical and administrative workflows in Veterans Health

-Ability to dive into the client environment and develop comprehension of the organization and the user community quickly

-Ability to manage and negotiate solutions among multiple stakeholders with different priorities, perspectives, and engagement styles

-Ability to communicate effectively with project leadership, clients, developers, and subject matter experts

-Ability to learn the software and increase expertise over time

-Ability to follow-up on tasks

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent project management and organizational skills

-BA or BS degree in CS, Systems, Business, or a related scientific or technical field
