Mobile Technology and Policy Lead

Key Role:
Serve as a commercial mobile, wireless systems, and technology subject matter expert in a small team to analyze federal government policy and conduct technical research assessments. Analyze wireless and mobile architectures, next-generation devices, systems, and wireless technologies to support DoD mission requirements. Identify key regulatory, technology, and commercial industry developments, lead assessments of major wireless and mobile trends and emerging technologies, and assess potential impacts on DoD strategy and policy. Demonstrate proficiency and subject matter expertise in commercial mobility and wireless systems to facilitate technical and planning meetings.  Provide policy, analytical, and technical reports to DoD senior leaders and deliver summary executive findings to senior DoD leaders. Collaborate with mobility subject matter experts across the federal government. Interface with senior military officers, DoD civilian executives, and leading industry experts.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with supporting a US government office in an information, communications, or technology (ICT) area
-6+ years of experience with wireless and mobile technologies, including policy analysis, wired and wireless mobile infrastructure and architecture, mobile devices and operating systems, mobile applications, and enterprise deployments

-Experience with analyzing DoD, federal, state, or corporate-level policies and recommending changes for the implementation of DoD-specific policies
-Knowledge of the commercial wireless and mobile industry, including assessing applicable technologies for US government for unclassified and classified use

-Ability to comprehend, integrate, and present technical, management, and policy issues to senior level executives and lead working groups
-Ability to work on the client site in the Arlington, VA, Crystal City, VA, and Mark Center, VA areas
-TS/SCI clearance
-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with commercial wireless carrier or enterprise mobility product or program management

-Knowledge of emerging wireless and mobility technologies, including 5G, licensed wireless access, WAN infrastructure, Wi-Fi and unlicensed technologies, mobile devices, and SDN/NFV

-Knowledge of wireless spectrums and standards, including 3GPP and ETSI

-Knowledge of the Cloud, IoT, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

-Ability to collaborate with foreign mission partners to support coalition mobility efforts
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
