Modeling and Simulation Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Provide supervision and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises. Support live, constructive, or virtual training. Lead the development of the OPFOR and SITFOR for Combatant Command exercises and the simulation team, for planning simulation and C4I support using JCATS and JTLS to stimulate GCCS, ADSI, TBMCS, C2PC, and others. Apply experience with military Command Post Exercise (CPX) training, including service component and Joint exercises from Division to Theater level. Leverage experience with the JTLS, JCATS, CBS, and various service models. Perform modeling and simulation functions or operations, including exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience as a modeling and simulation (M&S) specialist

-3+ years of experience with performing network M&S to support capacity planning and what-if analysis

-Experience with conducting M&S studies and analysis support

-Experience with discrete event simulation capability or a multi-method modeling platform

-Experience with developing M&S approaches and methodologies

-Experience with commercial network M&S tools

-Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint

-TS/SCI required

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with exercise community network architecture and operation

-Experience with applying M&S techniques to operational environment scenarios and providing predictive analytics 

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BBA, BA, or BS degree preferred

-Modeling and Simulation Professional (CMSP) Certification preferred
