Motion Imagery Research Scientist, Senior

Key Role:

Research and implement object detection and tracking in over-head motion imagery data sets. Apply knowledge of commercial, state-of-the-art tracking software and serve as an expert to implement new tracking techniques. Test algorithms against surrogate and synthetic data sets and assess performance based on standard metrics and write reports and briefings on findings. Apply experience with remote sensing, object tracking algorithms, motion image formation, and programming in MATLAB, Python, or IDL.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with spectral remote sensing, image science, and change detection

-Experience with programming in MATLAB and developing tools in ENVI or IDL

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with computer vision and image processing preferred
-Experience with CMOS and CCD imaging preferred
-BA or BS degree in Image Science, Remote Sensing, or Physics preferred; MS degree in Image Science, Remote Sensing, or Physics a plus


Clearance:
