MuleSoft Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Conduct highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software to support distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Plan and conduct major technical phases of significant projects by coordinating the efforts of technical support staff and the performance of assigned projects. Review the completion and implementation of technical products and evaluate vendors' capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with software application development

-2 years of experience with supporting or developing enterprise applications

-2 years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio

-Experience with designing Web services, including REST and SOAP APIs and RAML and working with an ESB, including Mulesoft Anypoint Studio

-Experience with formal software development life cycle methodologies and tools, including Agile and JIRA

-Ability to demonstrate logical analysis and creative problem-solving

-Ability to collaborate in an enterprise team environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Java and object-oriented programming, API data feeds, ingestion techniques, data mapping, data modeling, dependency injection, abstract classes and interfaces, access specifiers, collections, generics, exceptions, multithreading and synchronization, and coding

-Experience with Docker, continuous integration, automated testing, and DevOps

-Experience with microservices design, Spring framework, or message queuing

-Experience in working with federal government agencies

-Knowledge of the API life cycle, solution architecture, technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
