You Have:

-3 years of experience with testing GPS and PNT devices and systems in laboratory and field environments

-Experience with the physics and mathematics of PNT systems and how they produce PNT solutions

-Experience with the system architecture of the GPS system, including the Ground, Space, and User segments

-Experience with developing test plans, procedures, and reports and conducting T&E, including test set-up, test procedure execution, data logging, maintenance of laboratory notebook, and discrepancy reporting

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Sciences required

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with performing requirements analysis and test design and developing Verification Requirements Traceability Matrix (VRTM)

-Experience with supporting flight test conduct, including test set-up, test procedure execution, data collection, and maintenance of flight test log sheets and questionnaires and processing and analyzing collected flight test data

-Experience in coordinating flight testing resources and schedules with flight operations

-Experience with GNSS and Augmentation Programs, including WAAS, ARAIM, EGNOS, or Galileo

-Experience with GPS Modernization Ground-based Navigation Aids, including ILS, DME, or VOR

-Experience with approach lighting systems, including MALSR, PAPI, REIL, SFFLU, RRCS, RRCIU, RLMS, or ALSF

-Experience with modeling and simulation that can apply to WAAS, GPS Modernization, and other GNSS and SBAS systems

-Experience with evaluating NAVAID performance under existing conditions and predicting NAVAID performance under proposed conditions through the application of electromagnetic propagation theory and utilization of FAA mathematics models

-Experience with developing software to add graphical user interfaces to existing mathematics models to facilitate data entry and automate data analysis of mathematics model results

-Active Secret clearance preferred

-MS degree preferred; PhD degree a plus
