Network and IT Engineer, Junior

Key Role:

Plan, design, develop, and implement network engineering plans and network-based technology solutions for clients. Provide technical support in all client interaction situations, including receipt of specifications, design, test, and response to service requests. Debug and test networks and IT systems, plan projects, and perform needs assessments. Support installation and configuration of network equipment and IT systems supporting converged voice, video, and data applications. Provide initial implementation support of networks to assure proper execution and provide resolution for system failures or degradations. Provide project management and documentation, as required. Leverage the use and application of basic principles, theories, and concepts and develop resolutions to problems of limited scope.

Basic Qualifications:

-Knowledge of network and IT fundamentals from education or job experience

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Computer Science or Computer or Electrical Engineering

-CCNA Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or higher technical certification
