Network Engineer, Lead

Key Role:
Provide network engineering support to design, implement, and verify network infrastructure equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls for a mission critical Command and Control system for the US Navy. Lead the development of design artifacts, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials for complex communications systems, including design, operational, and technical requirements, network engineering, and information assurance. Identify and develop system specifications, performance requirements, and interface design requirements. Serve as the primary author for major deliverables, including system requirements specifications, system design documents, equipment specifications, system test plans, and test reports. Direct multiple engineering activities and lead the configuration of network equipment during all phases of implementation. Act as the primary point of contact with the client for project execution, provide support at briefings and design reviews, and work independently in a multi-tasking environment.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with network design, configuration, verification, and troubleshooting and working with Cisco and other vendors' network equipment

-5+ years of experience with leading teams to address complex projects

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BS degree in Computer Engineering, EE, or CS

-Current CCNP Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with writing and briefing senior leaders

-Experience with risk management

-Experience with working as a team member of a CSfC certified integrator

-Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD or military service implementations of RMF

-Current CCIE Certification

-CISSP Certification

-MCSE Certification for current Windows Server 2012 or 2016
