Network Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Support multiple exercises, training activities, operations analysis, and readiness functions for a DoD client. Develop network architecture to support a LVC-TE environment to meet unit training objectives. Coordinate with Marine Corps clients in the design of training architecture using tactical and garrison equipment or combinations thereof. Develop Information Assurance (IA) packages and assist with acquiring the appropriate Authorities to Operate (ATO), Interim ATOs (IATOs), and Authorities to Test (ATTs) for training events. Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Planning Conferences, including IPC, MPC, and FPC and training cadres to develop network architecture to support LVC-TE, includnig organic C4I and training systems. Plan a total systems integration that involves all training systems and sites. This position is located at Twenty-nine Palms, CA.


Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with USMC and Cyber operations or planning

-Experience with establishing and operating CAPSETs and unit operations centers

-Experience with TCS, CAC2S, C2PC, and TBMCS systems

-Experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Knowledge of Marine Corps Cyber policies, directives, orders, and requirements

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in IT, CS, Networking, or Cyber

-Network Security+ Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with LVC simulation software

-Experience with using ADVTE, JTEN, or other network architecture during LVC exercises

-Experience on Wing or higher staff preferred

-Experience with virtual or artificial reality devices

-Experience with LVC concepts, including DIS or HLA protocols

-Experience in a Joint or Combatant Command preferred

-MA or MS degree in IT, CS, Cyber, or Networking
