Network Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Design, implement, and maintain network configurations and services in support System of System Risk Reduction Analysis and test Events. Gather a Mission Needs Statements Initial Capabilities Document (MNSICD), Operational Requirements Capability Development Documents (ORCDDs), and Capability Production Documents (CPDs) for the Army’s tactical communications systems and translate requirements into technical solutions that are standards-based and cost efficient. Develop network architecture for adjacent, higher, and lower units and allied nations, other government agencies, and commercial service interfaces. Leverage knowledge of current and future Force tactical and strategic military communications networks and the architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics underlying these systems. Maintain responsibility for the engineering design, development, integration, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Army client's network.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with commercial network products, including routers, switches, and firewalls

-Experience with analysis and scripting and programming languages
-Experience with Shell scripting and database query language, including SQL

-Knowledge of networking technologies
-Knowledge of test architecture and threads and outline experiments and developing test plans, executing test runs, and analyzing test data

-Knowledge of programming languages, including C and C+
-Ability to support technology insertion testing for emerging Army client's networks requirements and capabilities
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering or CS and 8+ years of experience with supporting DoD programs as a network engineer
-Active Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) Certification
