Key Role:
Provide network engineering support, including development Satellite Communications (SATCOM) capabilities for DoD customers. Support analysis, design, integration, test, operation, and maintenance of SATCOM networks, terminals, and associated equipment. Conduct trade studies, identify courses of action, and make recommendations to resolve network issues. Prepare system specifications, test plans, and procedures. Conduct configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of network components. This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.
Basic Qualifications:
-12+ years of experience with progressively complex network engineering
-Experience with SATCOM systems and architectures
-Experience with IP routing, switching, and network optimization
-Experience in working with modems and multiplexing equipment
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, or a related field
