Network Management Systems Engineer

Key Role:

Plan and evaluate moderately complex existing network systems and make recommendations on the resources required to maintain or expand service levels. Assist with network planning, engineering, architecture, and the development of technical standards and interface applications. Evaluate new products, as assigned. Resolve network problems.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with SNMPv3 and querying MIB objects

-Experience with network management software and protocols, including YANG, NETCONF, and RESTCONF

-Knowledge of network architectures and protocols, including RIP, OSPF, IGRP, and EGP

-Knowledge of basic radio frequency characteristics

-Ability to coordinate between different product groups to maintain network management standards across the portfolio

-Ability to analyze and assess complexity in the current network architecture and recommend solutions to simplify the overall network

-Ability to work with external stakeholders to coordinate key management and identify management and product releases as they pertain to the network management and configuration of radio systems

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Network+ and A+ Certifications
